A quick little blog

Just a story to get you through this day:

A young girl falls asleep around 10:30 and is fast asleep. She sleeps through the whole night and she is dreaming of the beautiful beaches and lucious green trees. She is awaken the next morning and gets ready for the day. She looks outside and she can't even see the road because it is covered in white stuff. She doesn't know what to do. She realizes that she still has to get dressed and ready for the day. Her friend then picks her up for school and on her way out the door she says, "Bye mommy, Love you! Have a good day! See you after school." She heads to her friends car, but she can hardly see it because the white stuff that was all over the ground is coming down really hard from the sky.

As they head to school, her friend can't drive straight because under the white stuff is a lot of slippery-ness. The slip and slide all the way to school, almost having an acident or two on the way there. They get to the parking lot and they can't even see the lines, so they just park wherever. The girls don't want to get out of the car, but they know that they can't just sit in the car all day. They get out and face the white stuff, still coming down hard, and slowly walk up to the school trying to slip and fall.



Can you guess who that girl was? That was me...this morning. A 2 hour delay would have been nice...the roads are probably cleared a bit, it's not snowing as hard anymore (but it is a bit), we could have slept in, and it's light out. But, we have a final later today, so they didn't want to do that to us.

At least Michigan is getting a good amount of snow!! I can't wait to go skiing this weekend!!

Not Me Monday

So, I decided to join in on Not Me Monday. This is when I tell you what i 'did NOT' do this week. Danyele does it every week, so I thought I would join in.

i DID NOT staple my finger today helping my mom in her kindergarten class, and i did not start bleeding and have to put a band-aid on it.

i DID NOT hold JK, Danyele's daughter, while worshiping at Church yesterday.

i DID NOT watch 2 full seasons of The Office last week. (That probably wasn't smart...)

i DID NOT spend friday night ice skating for Laurens Sweet 16. and i DID NOT get knocked over by some guy.

i DID NOT start a count down til ELEVATE

i DID NOT talk to my uncle about spring break plans when Alex and I are out.

i DID NOT hear from my friend Dennis, who is in the navy, today who told me where he is being shipped to. And i DID NOT almost cry thinking about the last time we hung out (which was 5 months ago).

Spring Break, here we come :)

I know we have 78 days until spring break, but I'm already getting ready for it.

When Alex and I went to Poland this summer, we had a group from Arizona who came out with us. So, Alex and I talked about going to AZ for Spring Break, but we weren't sure if it was going to happen or not. But, last night we got our flights booked and we are stoked!



We are going to be staying with my family, then go visit his "aunt" who lives out there. She's a missionary from our Church, so we are going to go visit.



After being in this snow, I will be ready to get out to some warm weather!!

Last day of Christmas Break

This is so sad. Today was the last day of Christmas Break. Tomorrow we are going to be put to work, learning about stuff most people don't care about. Ahhhhh Not fun!!

But, today was deffinatly an amazing day!!!

Church was a great place to start my day!! I love my youth group, and I don't know where I would be without it! Lydia, Lauren, Makenzie, Alex, Nate, Jake, Keegan, and I went out to lunch at Pizza Hut. It was really good! Then, later some of us went to a movie. We watched a disney movie called "Bedtime Story". It was so good!! Lydia, Jake and I were laughing the whole time! I don't know if Lauren, Brandon and Nate laughed as much as we did, but it was pretty stinkin' hilarious!

Favorite line:
"Why did you kick me?" "Because I'm angry!!"

You have to see the movie to really understand it. But it is deffinatly one that I am glad that I spent $6.75 on! '

Right now I'm working on my Psych project//blogging//dreading school tomorrow!!
